Every spring semester, the brothers of Chi Phi and the sisters of Kappa Alpha Theta work with the Special Olympics of Pennsylvania to host a swim meet at Bucknell. Over 50 special needs athletes from five counties competed in a wide variety of individual and team-based swimming events while parents, coaches, and volunteers (including 75 of our brothers) cheered them on.
The goal of the event is to empower individuals with intellectual and physical disabilities to reach new heights, build friendships with Bucknell students and their peers, and to have fun....

Mar 25, 2014
On Friday, April 11, the Phi Lambda Theta chapter got together to host their annual Pig Roast with two full pigs. Because of the cancellation of House Party, the roast (which usually occurs that weekend in March) benefitted from warmer weather, but also some scattered April showers. Despite the clouds and a light rain, the men were still able to gather a crowd and enjoy several hundred pounds of pig....

2014 Alpha's Academy
Jan 18, 2014
From January 10th to the 12th, I was in Atlanta, Georgia, at the third annual Chi Phi Alphas Academy. It was an amazing opportunity for me to grow as a brother and leader of the Phi Lambda Theta chapter of Chi Phi. The national office held a lot of events and speakers that were aimed at. The ability to meet with many of the important figures in the national office prior to my term was also an excellent experience, since these are the people that I have to communicate with in order to be an effective Alpha for our chapter....

The night started with Chi Phi members arriving to take over one end of the campground in waves. Nine tents spread over ten campsites in a matter of minutes and the fun began....
