The Campaign to Sustain Excellence

Dear PLT/CP Alumnus,

As promised, we have enclosed a brochure that defines a proud past and describes a chapter eager to build on our success. This narrative is a road map for renewing the vision of PLT. It highlights major changes to the chapter house over time, provides a snapshot of the current chapter, and outlines the goals of the campaign.

This is not the first time we have enlisted your support. In 1973, we asked alumni to assist in the construction of the “House on the Hill”, and over 60% of you responded to our appeal. Twenty years ago, a kitchen was added. But with a growing membership, the space and resources had become inadequate, and significant changes were necessary to empower the chapter to reach its true potential and compete effectively with other Greek chapters at Bucknell.

In the space below we have provided an overview of the achievements of an award-winning chapter and summary of our gift-giving opportunities. To assist in supporting these new additions to the chapter house, please take a moment to review the circles of giving, which have been named to reflect the heritage of our Fraternity. We have also identified naming opportunities for the prominent features of our expansion.
